Job Description

Assist in planning, guest services, staffing, scheduling and controlling cost.


  1. Train, cross-train and retrain all Front Office staff.
  2. Knowledge of all Front Office standard operating procedures.
  3. Counsel and coach all subordinate employees when necessary.
  4. Maintain good working relationships and establish communication with all departments.
  5. Maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any challenges are resolved quickly, efficiently and courteously.
  6. Uphold the hotel's commitment to gracious hospitality and follow through on Four Key Service programs.
  7. Run, trace reports & special service request reports to ensure guest requests are fulfilled.
  8. Prepare weekly work schedules within budget.
  9. Check for accurate credit limits and in house guest rates for accuracy.
  10. Develop a good working knowledge of all Front Office positions.
  11. Ensure that all ledger work is neat and accurate and that all clerks are balanced at the end of the shift.
  12. Assist guests requesting to speak with a Manager.
  13. Assist in staff meetings of Front Desk personnel.
  14. Complete all tasks as assigned by management.
  15. Maintain accurate payroll records and track call outs.

  • A minimum of two (2) years front office and supervisory experience in a resort atmosphere required.
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends, holidays and overnight.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills.
