Physician Practice Mgr, Multi site

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • The Physician Practice Manager, has the responsibility for overall direction, utilization, supervision and instruction of professional and support staff, volunteers and students utilized in the clinics and the development, implementation and monitoring of all Quality Management programs, policies, and procedures within the practice site of responsibility. Incumbent reports to and is supervised by the Director, Practice Operations.

    • EDUCATION
      • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.

    • EXPERIENCE
      • Five years previous experience in private practice and/or clinic(s) office settings required. A minimum of two years previous supervisory experience required. Must be capable of providing day to day supervision to staff employees, in two or more locations, using good management, judgment, and communication skills. Should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and computer operations. Must be able to prioritize workload. Basic decision making and problem solving skills required. Must be able to project a professional image at all times in dealing with patients, families, third party payers and fellow staff members. Must have working knowledge of ICD9 and CPT coding. High level of confidentiality required. Strong willingness to expand knowledge through extensive training.
