Our Data & AI team is renowned for insights and solutions they have provided to companies working to migrate various operations to the cloud and to manage them successfully. The Amazon AWS Glue data migration engineer will be developing data pipelines using Glue and other native AWS utilities to migrate on prem data ecosystems to cloud.
+ Develop data ingestion, data processing, and analytical pipelines for big data, data warehouses, relational, and NoSQL data solutions.
+ Leverage ETL or ELT to build scalable data pipelines.
+ Use DevOps tools and orchestration tools to automate pipeline execution.
+ Support current state analysis and work with enterprise architects to build target state architecture. Conduct POCs to validate hypothesis.
What you need:
+ Certification as an active AWS cloud practitioner.
+ Minimum of 3 years experience in native AWS Glue ETL engineering, operationalization, automation build out, integration with other native AWS services and CICD using Python, Perl, and AWS APIs.
+ Minimum of 3 experience and hands on experience in AWS technologies such as AWS Redshift, AWS Aurora, AWS DynamoDB and other AWS native service.
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, or an Associate degree with a minimum of 6 years of equivalent work experience.
Bonus points if you have:
+ Experience migrating data from legacy systems using tools like Hadoop, Exadata, Oracle Teradata, or Netezza.
+ Experience with other ETL tools as Informatica, DataStage, AbInitio, Matellion etc.
+ Multi-cloud experience.
