Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Information Technology Project Manager 1. This position will be located in **Roy, UT** and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

**What you will get to do** **:**

Responsibilities for this role will include:

+ Managing and leading the team for technical development, collaboration, integration, and deployment of program capabilities.

+ Responsible for leading teams that may include systems engineers and project managers of the GBSD capabilities to support process development, implementation and driving discipline to ensure the technical integrity of the integrated digital environment.

+ Support developing the strategic and tactical objectives.

+ Functional and Technical Manager for MBx Tools across the domains of PLM, ERP, MES, Logistics, CAD, Manufacturing, Analysis and Simulation. Responsible for team of 10+ senior application SME’s along with tool adoption and deployment strategy across the Program.

+ Responsible for overall tool design and technical leadership.

+ Coordination with the Program IPTs and IT resources to define/document requirements, providing development oversight across the Program, and supporting the planning and implementation of any application integration solution.

+ Must have an emphasis on qualities such as analytical thinking, people leadership, managerial skills, networking, excellent presentation skills, and a passion of excellence.

+ Should have experience with a variety of application integration platforms, project management, and Engineering/Manufacturing processes and enabling tools.

+ Develop deep and enduring Customer relationships by working closely with them and understanding their needs (both internal and external)

+ Develop strong relationships with the team by working closely with them, understanding their roadblocks, and resolving issues.

+ Ensure technical integrity, quality, coordination, and provide oversight for keep program projects

+ Continual focus on decision making based on engineering efficiency for increased performance

+ Experience in leadership skills to plan, organize, integrate and drive program activities across multiple engineering disciplines, along with the ability to effectively motivate people to work as an integrated team across locations, companies and cultures.

+ Oversees projects and task assigned to the organizational group performed by non-exempt and/or exempt employees. Becomes involved as needed to ensure the success of the program. Makes decisions that support accomplishment of discipline objective.

These positions will have a standard work schedule of 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.


**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with minimum 5 years of experience; Masters with minimum 3 years of experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

+ At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.

+ Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

+ US Citizenship

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Strong experience leading teams and training others.

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

+ Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks

+ Operates independently with limited to no supervision, and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers

+ Able to assimilate information from multiple sources, create coherent plans and then execute those plans

+ Demonstration of a strong understanding of project management and earned-value management principles and their application to complex projects

+ Strong experience/ understanding of CAM responsibilities.

+ Strong experience managing cost and schedules.

+ 5 plus years of experience in project management, business management, or finance.

Salary Range: $96,700.00 - $145,100.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
