Demo QA Engineer

+ Some experience in Quality Assurance of software systems is required
+ Proficiency with troubleshooting iOS, watchOS, macOS and tvOS operating systems
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Experience with Unix based systems and command line tools (e.g. navigating the filesystem, running scripts and binaries etc)
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to collaborate with business partners cross functionally
+ Comfortable working with content in foreign languages
+ Flexibility with shifting priorities in a multifaceted and fast-paced environment
+ Self-motivated, with excellent time and project management skills
+ Experience in scripting languages such as Bash or Python is a plus
As a Demo QA Engineer you will join our team of incredible engineers who are responsible for our macOS, iOS, tvOS and watchOS based demonstration devices in over 500 stores worldwide. You will collaborate with many business partners within the Interactive and Retail Technology team and the greater Apple Retail organization. This includes coordinating activities with the macOS and iOS Program Office, Retail and Product Marketing teams, Merchandising, Software Engineering, and IS&T teams. You are a motivated, highly technical engineer with excellent problem-solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Supporting the building, testing, and deployment to all customer-facing technology product demos in Apple Retail - Writing test suites, automating testing, and working closely with the entire Demo Engineering team - Reporting status of testing across teams and business groups - Working multi-functionally to resolve bugs - Act as a strong advocate for quality product demos - Define test approaches and strategies, as well as execute all types of testing
**Education & Experience**
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
