The Advance Group is currently seeking a CNC Operator for a manufacturing facility in Waterville, OH, conveniently located near Toledo, Maumee, and Oregon. The ideal candidate will have previous CNC experience, strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to accurately measure parts.

Job Duties for CNC Operator:
• Operate CNC equipment and manufacturing machinery
• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines according to production requirements
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications
• Use rulers, measuring devices, and other precision measurement tools
• Read and interpret measurements and perform basic mathematical calculations
• Use hand tools and power tools as needed during production
• Perform machine adjustments and assist with troubleshooting as needed
• Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately
• Package finished parts and prepare products for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Work closely with the Fabrication Supervisor and manufacturing team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements for CNC Operator:
• Previous CNC operating experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with manufacturing equipment
• Must be able to read a tape measure and accurately interpret measurements
• Must successfully pass a measurement skills test as part of the hiring process
• Comfortable working with rulers, gauges, and other measuring devices
• Experience with hand tools and power tools preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to perform basic math and work with fractions and measurements
• Ability to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures
• Ability to multitask while operating machinery and performing physical work
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift
• Reliable attendance and transportation required
• Candidates must be willing to interview with the Fabrication Supervisor
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen
• Steel toe boots

Shift for CNC Operator:
• Monday–Friday
• 2nd/3rd Shift: 2:45 PM–11:15 PM
• Overtime may be available on Fridays as needed
• Initial orientation/training may take place during 1st shift hours

Pay for CNC Operator:
• Starting pay: $21/hour
• $1.50/hour shift premium for 2nd shift
• Candidates with stronger CNC skills and experience may be considered for a higher starting rate, based on management approval
