The Advance Group has partnered with a global solar panel manufacturing company in Walbridge, Ohio who just opened it's 4th location in the area and has a need for forklift drivers. The Forklift Operator position is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials along with some warehouse duties as assigned.

Duties for the Forklift Operator:

Safely and efficiently operate forklift
Load/unload materials
Picking
Material Handling
Packaging, inspecting, and banding modules by hand
Warehouse and Shipping duties
Data entry to document inventory and track shipments
Prepping trucks for shipments

Requirements for the Forklift Operator:

Must have minimum 6 months of recent forklift experience
Must have a valid driver license
Ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment
Excellent attendance
Must be able to pass a drug and background check
Willing to work in various departments and drive to other buildings as needed
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs on a consistent basis
Must be able to climb stairs occasionally and walk long distances
Good computer skills
Must be able to use hands to grasp, carry, lift, and feel objects as required
High School Diploma/GED
Must have access to a smartphone to use the company’s mobile timekeeping system

Shift for the Forklift Operator:

Night shift: 6pm-6:10am (with paid lunch)
Rotating schedule means you’ll get a 3 day weekend, every other weekend PLUS day(s) off during the week

Pay for the Forklift Operator:

$19.80/hour ($18/hour + 10% shift differential )
