The Advance Group has partnered with a global solar panel manufacturing company in Walbridge, Ohio who just opened it's 4th location in the area and has a need for forklift drivers. The Forklift Operator position is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials along with warehouse duties as assigned.

Duties for the Forklift Operator:

Safely and efficiently operate forklift
Load/unload materials
Picking/Packing
Material Handling
Preparing, inspecting, and banding modules by hand
Warehouse and Shipping duties
Brace loads and prepare trucks
Break down pallets and crates with power tools and hand tools
Data entry to document shipping and order information

Requirements for the Forklift Operator:

Must have minimum 1yr of recent forklift experience
Experience loading semi trailers
Must have a valid driver license and own transportation
Ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment
Excellent attendance
Must be able to pass a drug and background check
Willing to work in various departments
Comfortable performing manual labor duties and using hand/power tools
Must be able to lift up to 30-45 lbs as needed
Must be able to climb stairs occasionally and do a lot of walking
Must be able to use hands to grasp, carry, lift, and feel objects as required
Must have a Diploma/GED
Must have access to a smartphone to use the company’s mobile timekeeping system

Shift for the Forklift Operator:

Day shift: 6am-6:10pm
Rotating schedule means you’ll get a 3 day weekend, every other weekend PLUS day(s) off during the week

Pay for the Forklift Operator:

$18/hr
