Application Developer

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Application Developer** to join our team! This is a remote position that requires travel to Clarksburg, WV once a year.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

+ Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.

+ Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

+ Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

+ Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.

+ Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.

+ Designs embedded systems software.

+ Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of IT related experience; Master's Degree and 2+ years, Associate's degree and 6+ years or, High School Diploma and 8+ years of IT related experience is acceptable.

+ 4 + years’ hands on development experience with Java in Linux environments.

+ 4+ years’ hands on development experience with NodeJS and Angular.

+ 4+ years’ experience developing in Agile / Scrum environment.

+ Development experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas or similar cloud technologies

+ Experience with codes, tests, debugs and maintaining software applications.

+ Ability to develop program logic for new applications or analyze existing applications.

+ Ability to analyze requirements and maintain test and integrate applications.

+ Ability to solve a range of problems independently.

+ Ability to travel to Clarksburg, WV one time per year

**Security Clearance Requirements:** Active/current Secret clearance is required.

**Physical Requirements:** Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
