Software Developer

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Software Developer** to join our team! For this position the work is remote but a onetime trip to Clarksburg WV customer site is required for processing with the customer.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

+ Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.

+ Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

+ Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

+ Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.

+ Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.

+ Designs embedded systems software.

+ Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and 4+ years of IT related experience, 6+ year’s w/Associate’s OR 2+ year’s w/Master’s

+ Minimum of 4 years’ hands on development experience with Java in Linux environments.

+ Minimum of 4 years’ hands on development experience with NodeJS and Angular.

+ Minimum of 4 years’ experience developing in Agile / Scrum environment.

+ Development experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas.

+ Ability to develop program logic for new applications or analyze existing applications.

+ Experienced with codes, tests, debugs and maintaining software applications.

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must have a current/active Secret clearance.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

+ Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.

+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
