**_What you’ll get to do:_**
+ _Manage the Test Facility Operating Team and oversee Test Facility Operations in support of Test Campaigns and individual component testing for quality, and to maximize schedule and cost performance._
+ _Manage the support for all aspects and phases of Test operations from inception through completion._
+ _Responsible for the cost and schedule performance of Operations programs and/or subsystems of major programs in the Test areas._
+ _Monitors and drives adherence to master plans and schedules, and cost performance to budgets. Provides cost and schedule performance data/status as requested._
+ _Identifies process problems and, working with Manufacturing Test Engineering, develops solutions._
+ _Directs the work of assigned Employees. Interfaces with Employee representatives as required. Conducts performance reviews with Employees and provides timely feedback on performance._
+ _Coordinate, Maintain and track Employee Training/Certifications as required._
+ _Work with Manufacturing Test Engineering on the Preparation, Maintenance and Operation of the Test Facilities. Assist in facility planning, maintenance, and improvements._
+ _Oversee the Pipe Shop and Electrical Shop, ensuring their activities align with test‑facility objectives and support overall operational goals._
+ _Ability to work swing‑shift._
**_****Note: Shift will consist of a_** **_(Fri – Sat 12hours) (5:30 to 5:30)****_**
**_Basic Qualifications Manager General Manufacturing 2:_**
+ _Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with 8 years of experience; Master's with 6 years of experience; PhD with 4+ years of experience (4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)._
+ _S_ _upervisory or team lead experience in the operation and maintenance of a boiler steam plant system._
+ _SAP_ _Experience_ _._
+ _Experience_ _with Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques._
+ _The ability to obtain a DOD security clearance._
+ _US citizen required_
**_Preferred Qualifications Manager General Manufacturing 2:_**
+ _Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques._
+ _Experience managing union represented workforce._
+ _US Naval or Civilian management experience in the safe operation and maintenance of a boiler steam generation system (certified steam plant operator or licensed to operate a high-pressure steam plant) is strongly desired._
+ _Experience as a Tester B "journeyman tester"._
+ _Experience in metallurgy._
+ _Knowledge and experience in welding processes, general machining, and precision large industrial assembly._
+ _US Naval Machinist Mate experience._
+ _Have an active_ _DOD security clearance._

Primary Level Salary Range: $121,100.00 - $181,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
