**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Radiologic Technologist, you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images specifically tailored for pediatric patients, enabling accurate diagnoses and effective management of their conditions.

Every day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations on children, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively creating a comforting and positive experience for young patients and their families through direct interaction.

To be successful in this role, you must deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging in a pediatric context, encompassing expertise in child-friendly workflow, age-appropriate patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses in children.

+ Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.

+ Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.

+ Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.

+ Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.

+ Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.

+ Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.

**Job Requirements**

Required

+ High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or

+ High School GED General Studies, upon hire and

+ Graduate of a Radiology Program, upon hire and

+ Less than 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience, upon hire

+ Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire and

+ Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and

+ Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, within 90 Days and

Preferred

+ Associates Other, upon hire and

+ Expanded IV Therapy Course, upon hire and

+ Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire

**Pay Range**

$60.02 - $60.02 /hour
