**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

+ Operation of Radiology Equipment

+ Operates Radiographic, Tomographic, Fluoroscopic and mobile Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment. Sets technical factors and follows established protocols to produce diagnostic images.

+ Uses positioning and immobilization devices as appropriate in safe and effective manner

+ Wears radiation dosimetry badge at collar and follows radiation protection standards.

+ Operates processing, day-light loading and duplication equipment. Transmits digital images to the laser camera for filming. Reports equipment problems in an efficient manner.

+ High School Graduate Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications, upon hire or

+ Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire and

+ Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and

+ Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, upon hire and

+ Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Mammography, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Quality Management, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad, upon hire or

+ Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, upon hire

Preferred

+ Previous experience in Diagnostic Radiology, upon hire

**Pay Range**

$38.47 - $47.90 /hour
