POSITION SUMMARY
Join Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) as a Social Worker and make a meaningful difference every day. In this vital role, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality clinical social work services that empower patients, support families, and strengthen communities. As part of a respected, collaborative healthcare team, you’ll help patients overcome barriers, connect with essential resources, and achieve improved health and well-being.
CORE COMPETENCIES

Education: Master’s degree in Social Work required.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of social work values, ethics, and best practices, with the ability to translate them into meaningful, real-world impact.

Skills:

Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with providers, staff, and diverse patient populations.

Ability to mentor and guide Social Work students, when eligible.

Licensure & Certification: Current Maryland licensure (LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-C) through the Board of Social Work Examiners, or license eligibility at one of these levels.

Experience: At least one year of post-graduate social work experience in a healthcare setting; ambulatory care experience preferred.
Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
