**Job Description**
In this role, you will:
Work on everything pertaining to Electronic Security Systems (ESS)to include biometrics, x-ray, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), metal detectors, Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), communication technology and networks.
Solve complex and challenging technical problems with cutting edge technologies.
Perform corrective maintenance on the systems and components of the systems listed under required skills.
Perform emergency on-call support, alternating with the team, to support after-hours efforts for systems listed under required skills.
Perform Preventive maintenance and testing on systems and components of systems listed under required skills.
Support team in efforts of managing site contract, budget, forecasts, report writing and documentation.
Support Information Assurance technician/engineer for information gathering and troubleshooting with updates.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
Associates Degree preferred, not required. , 4 years work experience:
+ C-CURE 9000 certification
+ Ability to climb ladders
+ Able to lift up to 45 pounds
+ Technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
+ Writing and communication skills
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
Associates degree
4 years experience associated with systems listed in required skills.
Security certification
PELCO CCTV experience
Experience with Southwest Microwave/ Certification is a plus
Communications troubleshooting (Ethernet and Fiber optics)
**Pay Information**
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
