As a **Security Officer Patrol** in **Lexington, MA** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $22.00 / Houre**

Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related responsibilities appropriate to a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report observations according to site protocols.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document visitor and/or contractor activity in accordance with location guidelines.

+ Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations, and support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
