As a **Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Desk** in **Chelsea, MA** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $19.70 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at an automotive location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, keys, vehicles, and/or operational spaces.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.

+ Document visitor activity, deliveries, and/or access-related incidents with accurate records and clear communication for site leadership and Allied Universal management.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for access control issues, unsecured areas, and/or other security-related concerns.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
