As a **Security Officer Patrol Associate** in **Lenoir, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. **What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including the perimeter, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and trailer yards, with attention to unusual activity and/or unauthorized access.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries, helping to support access control processes and following site protocols for credentials, packages, and/or vehicle traffic.

+ Assist with security-related reporting, note-taking, and communication regarding operational issues, policy concerns, and/or emergency situations that may arise during a shift.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
