As a **Security Officer Mobile Patrol** in **Lenoir, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. **What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.

+ Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers, verifying credentials and directing them according to site policies and approved access requirements.

+ Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing trailer yards, entry points, and high-traffic areas, and by communicating security-related issues, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
