As a **Security Guard Part Time Patrol** in **Lancaster, OH** , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

**Pay Rate: $22.32 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

**How This Role Works:**

+ **Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

+ **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and help to verify visitor, vendor, and employee entry in accordance with location protocols, reporting concerns related to access control and/or restricted areas.

+ Support daily operations by completing routine reports, communicating clearly with staff and/or supervisors, and following post orders for assigned duties and changing site conditions.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
