**Plant Mechanic**

**Work location:** 8230 Walnut Hill Ln. Dallas, TX 75231

**Work hours:** Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

**Here’s What You Need**

**Education**

+ **H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is** **required**

**Experience**

+ 3 Years of Experience in the maintenance and repair of physical plant equipment and utilities systems is **required**

+ 1 year of experience within Highrise building maintenance to include working within electrical, HVAC or plumbing is **strongly preferred.**

+ Healthcare environment is **preferred**

**License/ Certification**

+ DL - Drivers License Valid Class C Driver's License Upon Hire is **required**

**What You Will Do**

· Maintain the efficient operation of the facility by:

o Identify equipment operational and maintenance needs

o Implement preventive maintenance program for plant equipment, machinery, and related facilities

o Record mechanical equipment readings and ensure accuracy of records kept

o Maintain plant safety features

o Perform major repair on machinery and to the facility including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and mechanical equipment.

· Perform routine mechanical, electrical, or machining maintenance activities on equipment including lubrication, inspection, replacement of parts, and related plant work activities.

· Utilize the CMMS to keep accurate computerized records of activities, time, and materials required keeps accurate reports of equipment maintenance and performance.

· Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, educational opportunities, and related training.
