Work location: Texas Health Cleburne, 201 Walls Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033

Work hours: PRN 'As Needed, rotating schedule 7:00 am - 7:00 pm , 11a-11p, 3p-3a or 7:00 pm -7:00 am- PRN II requires 3 shifts in a 6 week schedule with a minimum of 1 weekend shift.

Here's What You Need

* Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program

* BSN preferred

* One year experience as a registered nurse in the ER required.

* BCLS - prior to providing independent care and maintained quarterly

* ACLS - within 90 days of hire

* CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire

* PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - within 90 Days of hire

* TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course - within 12 Months of hire

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

* Assesses the patient

* Plans the care of the patient

* Intervenes as appropriate

* Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

* Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

* Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

* Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
