MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Launch Site Systems** **E** **ngineer** to join our team in **Cape Canaveral, Florida** . This is an onsite position.
This position provides support to the U.S. Space Force Launch Vehicle Mission Assurance team to ensure the capability to provide launch services for Department of Defense (DoD) National Security Space Launch (NSSL) missions. This role offers deep technical engagement directly influencing the success of Assured Access to Space (AATS).
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ AnalyzeBlue Originprocesses and procedures including vehicle processing, test, and checkout for launch operations
+ MonitorBlue Origin’sanomaly resolution process,reviewrisks, issues, and changes to support thegovernment's efforts to track configurationchanges,andsupport the Mission Assurance Team during operations by troubleshooting,trackingand reporting nominal and anomalous events
+ Assess and evaluateBlue Origin’s launch complex requirements, design, configuration changes and verification/validation documentation and provide risk recommendations to thegovernment
+ ObserveBlue Origin’s launch readiness reviews, Post-Flight Data Reviews, ground system performance reviews, and participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and Chief Engineer Review Boards
+ Closely collaboratewith ourinternalManTechCape CanaveralSoftware Engineering teamtorepresentEngineering Verification needs for development into ourlaunch verification matrixapplication.
**Minimum Qualifications** **:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field
+ 10+years as a systems engineer, technical PM, or other related areas and 4 years DoD or launch/range experience
+ Familiarity with Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) facilities, processes,providersand operations.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Proficiencywithdigitaldata andcollaboration tools includingPower Automate,Jira,Confluence,Mattermost,Power BI,Power Apps.
+ ProficiencyinData AnalysisandApplication Programming Interfaces.
+ Experiencewith launch site communication systems to include telemetry data,operationalvoiceand video.
+ Experience contributing,participating,oracting as technical liaison toagile software development processes andlanguages.
+ Experience withBlue Originorotherlaunch service providervehicles,launch complexes,or data systems.
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must have an active SECRET security clearance.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
+ Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery
+ Communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
