**CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Engineer II opening for our client.**

**Location:** Buffalo, NY (Hybrid, 1 day remote per week)

**Duration:** 12 months

**Overview:**

Join the team responsible for automating software installations across laptops, desktops, tablets, servers, and virtual devices. You’ll help maintain a stable, efficient endpoint environment using tools like Microsoft SCCM, InstallShield, PowerShell, and PSAppDeploy Toolkit (PSADT) on Windows 10/11 and Windows Server. Experience with Intune, VB Script, or Mac OS is a plus.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Monitor Jira for packaging requests and assess requirements.

+ Automate application installations and test via SCCM for UAT readiness.

+ Support Desktop Engineering with packaging and delivery issues.

+ Collaborate with IT teams on configuration, security, and maintenance.

+ Maintain packaging standards, procedures, and documentation.

+ Automate daily processes to improve efficiency.

+ Perform moderate to complex system administration tasks.

**Required Experience & Skills:**

+ 5+ years in Windows environments (Mac OS a plus).

+ Strong software automation, scripting, and OS knowledge.

+ Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, or JAMF Pro.

+ Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

+ Ability to work independently and in team settings.

**Preferred Experience:**

+ Medium to large-scale project experience.

+ Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, and PowerShell scripting.

+ 5+ years in enterprise IT environments.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
