CTG is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst V to support complex enterprise initiatives for our client. This role will serve as a functional lead and subject matter expert, partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver application enhancements, system implementations, and business solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with business requirements gathering, functional specifications, SIT/UAT coordination, test management, and enterprise application support, with preference given to candidates experienced with commercial loan systems or banking applications.
**Location:** Buffalo, NY
**Duration:** 18 months
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead complex application projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post-production support.
+ Partner with business users to analyze needs, define requirements, and translate business objectives into functional specifications.
+ Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts while coordinating SIT and UAT activities.
+ Serve as a functional lead for enterprise applications, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
+ Facilitate project meetings, coordinate stakeholders, and track milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables.
+ Perform data analysis, system impact assessments, and data mapping for integrations, conversions, and enterprise initiatives.
+ Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to support application design, enhancements, and implementations.
+ Provide subject matter expertise for assigned systems and mentor junior analysts.
+ Support acquisition, regulatory, and business transformation initiatives impacting enterprise applications.
+ Manage post-implementation reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement activities.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 6+ years of combined higher education and/or business systems analysis experience.
+ Experience managing or coordinating **SIT and UAT testing activities** .
+ Ability to write detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and test scripts.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Experience supporting complex applications and integrated systems.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ Experience supporting commercial banking, lending, or financial services applications.
+ Subject matter expertise with enterprise business systems.
+ Experience with system conversions, acquisitions, or large-scale implementations.
+ Knowledge of banking processes, application frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
+ Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
