**Job Description:**

+ Inspects the facility's interior structure regularly to identify maintenance needs.

+ Repairs and maintains walls, ceilings, floors, and other structural elements.

+ Performs painting, patching, and drywall repairs as needed.

+ Installs and maintains wall protection and flooring.

+ Ensures all maintenance work is completed professionally and timely.

+ Follows plans and specifications for small projects.

+ Communicates effectively with all departments and requestors to provide excellent customer service.

+ Documents completed tasks and repairs.

+ Follows all regulatory guidelines and safety procedures related to assigned tasks.

+ Works with minimal supervision and takes initiative to raise operational safety issues to management.

+ Interacts with the Manager/Supervisor and co-workers to achieve operational goals.

+ Other duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

• General knowledge of the following areas: HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical [Required]

• Strong knowledge and skills in drywall repair, flooring, wall protection installation, patching and painting [Required]

• Must be detail oriented, accurate, fast, reliable, self-motivated, multi-task and flexible. Must be service driven and have a positive attitude [Required]

• Must have at least three years of experience in healthcare facilities’ maintenance. [Required]

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry within the healthcare field. [Preferred]

**Education:**

• High School Grad or Equiv or 5+ years experience [Preferred]

**Field of Study:**

• High School/Equivalent grad OR 5+ years exprience required

**Work Experience:**

• 2+ healthcare experience [Preferred]

• 5+ work experience [Required]
