**Position Overview:**
As a Finance Business Partner supporting the Engineering organization, you will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support that helps drive business performance. You will partner closely with engineering leaders to manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial governance activities across the portfolio. You will analyze financial results, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights that support informed decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and provide meaningful financial leadership across a complex and dynamic organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and ongoing financial planning activities for the Engineering organization.
+ Analyze organizational and project-level financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and develop recommendations for leadership.
+ Prepare, interpret, and communicate financial results, forecasts, and business insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
+ Own monthly close processes, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, and variance analysis.
+ Support financial governance activities and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
+ Partner with engineering and business leaders to evaluate financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives through enhanced reporting, process standardization, and documentation.

**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, or a related discipline.
+ Strong experience with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
+ Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders.
+ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and financial governance practices.
+ Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or product development organizations preferred.
+ Experience with OneStream, Alteryx, or similar analytical and reporting tools preferred.
+ Wyoming, MN location, three days a week in-office/two work-from-home.
+ This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $80,000 to $111,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
