 BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced labor and delivery Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team.

·System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available. Assignment currently available @ Winter Haven Women's Hospital.

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

·The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.

·Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments

·Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

·The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

**Requirements:**

·Registered Nurse license

·BLS, ACLS and NRP are required.

·Associate degree in nursing (ASN). Preferred BSN

·18 months RN minimum experience in an acute L&D setting is required.

·Previous travel nurse L&D experience is strongly preferred.

·Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.

·Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.
