**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As our Neurology APP, you will serve as a cornerstone of our specialized medical team, providing high-level neurological care to a resilient, underserved population in the Bakken region. You will practice at the top of your license, enjoying significant clinical autonomy and the opportunity to manage diverse patient cases without the constraints of high-volume, bureaucratic, "treadmill" clinical environments. In this role, you become a vital healthcare lifeline for residents who rely on your expertise for essential, localized neurological interventions.
Every day you will collaborate with a supportive and collegial medical team that prioritizes clinical excellence and patient outcomes over arbitrary quotas. Your daily responsibilities will focus on building long-term, meaningful relationships with your patients, ensuring they receive consistent, expert neurological care close to home. Because our community values its healthcare providers, you will find that your daily work has a tangible, immediate impact on the health and well-being of the patients you serve.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a desire for both professional growth and a high quality of life. You should be a dedicated provider who thrives in a community-oriented environment and wants to trade long city commutes for a "Big Sky" lifestyle featuring easy access to outdoor recreation, such as hiking in Theodore Roosevelt National Park or exploring the Badlands. We are looking for an APP who wants the economic freedom to pay down debt or invest in property while enjoying a lower cost of living and a true sense of belonging in a tight-knit North Dakota community.

Where You'll Work
**The City of Williston**
Situated at the confluence of the Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers, Williston, North Dakota, covers 23 square miles and is the county seat of Williams County. Located just 60 miles from the Canadian border and 18 miles from the Montana border, Williston is commonly referred to as the “Western Star” and takes pride in its western heritage. The City is recognized as a regional center for business, leisure, and economic development. Residents and visitors alike enjoy convenient access to extraordinary historic sites, world-class hunting and fishing, and beautiful national and state parks.
Due to its proximity to the Yellowstone and Missouri, the Williston area has been a booming commerce center for centuries, earning the nickname “Boomtown” early on in its history. It was a gathering place for the earliest inhabitants of the plains and a rendezvous point for fur traders and explorers. It has drawn together generations of agricultural producers. Today, with the Bakken oil formation, Williston is home to hardworking residents making North Dakota the nation’s second largest oil-producing state.
While population growth in the area has started to normalize, the City of Williston (https://www.cityofwilliston.com/departments/human\_resources/about\_the\_city\_of\_williston.php) experienced explosive growth over the past several years due to increased activity in the oil and gas industry. The City has grown 210% in size since 2010, jumping from a population of 12,120 to 29,160 as of the 2020 Census. This prosperous community has managed its incredible growth issues with great success, and is the sixth most populous city in North Dakota.
Williston’s economy is built on oil, agriculture, and tourism. It is home to over 200 oil service companies. Several of the top ten oil service companies in the world have operations in Williston.
