Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, provide a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, offering the chance to support daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a public education location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances and exits, verify visitor and staff access as directed, and assist with traffic flow, arrival and dismissal activity, and/or other site movement procedures.

+ Support Allied Universal standards by completing required reports, communicating with local contacts and/or public personnel, and following post orders for daily operations.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
