Manufacturing Associate – $16-$18/hr | 1st Shift | Waterville, OH

Manufacturing Associates needed in Waterville, OH! Join a growing manufacturing team producing high-quality metal and wax components. We are hiring for multiple Manufacturing Associate opportunities, including Casting, Grinding, Dewax, and Wax Mold Production.

Pay & Schedule

  • $16-$18/hour, depending on position and relevant experience
  • Casting/Grinding Manufacturing Associates: $18/hour
  • Wax Mold Trim & Setup Manufacturing Associates: $16/hour
  • Eligible for a scrap bonus of up to $2/hour once hired in, based on scrap rate and attendance
  • Monday-Friday
  • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM-1:30 PM
  • Occasional overtime until approximately 3:30 PM
  • Rare Saturday overtime opportunities

Manufacturing Associate Positions

Casting & Grinding Manufacturing Associate – $18/hour

  • Assist with melting and casting metal to produce finished parts
  • Load and unload materials from industrial ovens
  • Pour hot metal into molds/casts
  • Operate grinding wheels for rough grinding
  • Grind, deburr, and finish metal parts
  • Inspect finished parts for defects and quality concerns
  • Follow production and quality standards to minimize scrap
  • Work with industrial equipment and manufacturing tools

Dewax Manufacturing Associate – $18/hour

  • Operate machinery that removes melted wax from ceramic molds
  • Load and unload parts from equipment
  • Inspect finished parts for quality concerns and defects
  • Follow production and quality standards
  • Work throughout production and finishing areas as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Wax Mold Trim & Setup Manufacturing Associate – $16/hour

  • Work at the beginning of the wax mold production process in a climate-controlled room
  • Inject wax into aluminum dies to create wax molds
  • Operate production machinery and rack parts
  • Use small hand tools to cut and trim excess wax
  • Use a small handheld torch to melt wax pieces onto a ceramic structure
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Manufacturing Associate Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, grinding, deburring, finishing, or general labor experience preferred
  • Experience with hand tools or machine operation is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
  • Ability to identify defects and follow detailed production standards
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Artistic ability or experience with detailed hands-on work is a plus for some positions
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs., depending on the Manufacturing Associate position
  • Comfortable working around industrial equipment
  • Willingness to work in environments that may be dusty, dirty, hot, or loud, depending on the department
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Steel-toe boots required
  • Additional PPE is required in certain areas and will be provided by the company
