Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **SME Digital Engineer** to join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ The Digital Engineer works with SED GPOCs and stakeholders to enable the stand-up of an integrated digital approach to explore system capabilities, cross-system interrelationships, and innovative solution mission impacts using a virtual Digital Engineering (DE) environment.

+ Propose a stepwise progression in digital modeling & simulation capability for evolving the DEE from single system to multiple systems, to the system of systems within the CBP border security ecosystem that encompasses land, air, maritime, cyber and any emergent domains.

+ Support SED in ideation, transition, and implementation of an interoperable, resilient, and secure Digital Engineering (DE) environment.

+ Participate in engineering, special, and transformation studies to ensure virtual environment technologies in the DE domain meet user and mission needs while ensuring affordability, usability, and operational excellence.

+ Knowledgeable of a wide range of engineering, automation, production, maintenance, logistics, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications, and digital technologies, and they have knowledge of the vendors that sell them.

+ Understand both the Acquisition Lifecycle Framework (ALF) and the System Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) processes and methods for managing DE transition risks to include managing DE knowledge sharing and training staff in DE engagement, outcomes analyses, and reporting capabilities.

+ Provide cost management insights for DE services and tools and provide advisory support regarding regulatory compliance for infrastructure operations (e.g. security, identity access management, cybersecurity, etc.).

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science,

+ Management Information Systems (MIS), or related IT degrees.

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Object Management Group (OMG) Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) SysML Certifications.

+ International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certifications.

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must be a U.S. citizen.

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
