Senior Data Platform Engineer

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Data Platform Engineer** to join our team in **Washington, D.C..**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Perform technical assessments/acceptability of software

+ Representing the customer on various technical review and inspection teams

+ Obtain, compile, and summarize information for use by others

+ Ownership of the problems and requests assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues

+ Working with database engineering to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems

+ Analyze and recommend alternatives and options for solutions

+ Reconcile and evaluate the content, accuracy of table and any effect on General Ledger and subsidiary accounts

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of experience in functional analysis, and experience with Momentum Financials®

+ Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues Ability to write and use SQL for queries and to troubleshoot data integrity Documentation skills for processes and procedures

+ Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision.

+ Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/ civilian personnel and industry partners.

+ Service oriented mentality required.

+ Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical customers both orally and in writing.

+ Demonstrates problem solving, conflict management, and team building skills to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of goals.

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active Secret clearance

**Physical Requirements:**

+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
