Join our Sibley Nursing Team as an Oncology RN!
With its 318 beds, this non-profit, full-service acute care hospital offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.
Specialized Unit Details:
25 bed Oncology unit with a BMT specialty component, an emphasis on the acute hematology patients and symptom management for all person experiencing issues related to their cancer diagnosis.

Unit/Schedule:
- 25 Bed Inpatient Oncology unit
- Full-time 36 hours/week, benefitted
- 12-hour Night shifts
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
- Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
- 6 months RN experience required; 1+ year experience preferred
- Chemo/bio–Therapy Certification preferred or obtain within 1 year of hire; fully paid for by Sibley Memorial Hospital
- AHA CPR

Salary Range: Minimum 43.25/hour - Maximum 67.04/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
