Combat Systems Analyst

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Combat Systems Analyst** to join our team working in **the Washington D.C. Navy Yard.** This is an **onsite** position.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Assist the Aegis Readiness Major Program Manager/Deputy Major Program Manager (MPM/DMPM) in developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance

+ Attend high-level briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the MPM/DMPM on fleet combat systems issues

+ Maintain a schedule of upcoming combat systems fleet readiness related briefings

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

+ 3+ years of Navy fleet experience as a US Navy officer

+ Experience communicating effectively with technical and non-technical staff as well as senior leadership.

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active or current secret security clearance

**Physical Requirements:**

+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

+ Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers

+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
