Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Junior Systems Engineer to join our team in the Warrenton, VA** location.

Seeking technical expertise, strong business analysis, and customer engagement skills in support of an AWS/Azure cloud-based network ecosystem using Linux/RHEL and Microsoft services.

**Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:**

+ Engaging with customers to assess, document, and address their business requirements for new Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) service environments.

+ When not directly engaging with customers, this position will assist in the implementation of scalable architectures, working with a variety of database systems, and processing large amounts of data.

+ Support DevSecOps, Data Science, and Analytic Teams operations, and will follow specific IT project management and engineering life-cycle processes.

+ Support solutions throughout the IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, and providing O&M and troubleshooting support.

+ Participate in technical and business requirements meetings and conversations with customers.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of related experience

+ Ability to administer, configure and secure ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and related storage

+ Ability to administer, configure, and secure Linux Servers and clusters.

+ Ability to administer, configure, and secure Windows Servers and Workstations

+ Experience with Common Big Data, Search Platforms, and Concepts (Hadoop, ElasticSearch & Kibana, Accumulo, Hive, etc.)

+ Experience with provisioning tools such as Ansible / Ansible Tower

+ Knowledge of Python, Java, Bash, PowerShell or Software Development experience

+ Experience with Cloud technologies, AWS, Azure architecture concepts

+ 8570 IAT Level II Certification and relevant Computing Environment Certification

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ System Design Related Certifications (MCSE, RHCA, and/or VCP)

+ Familiarity with Cisco switches, Dell PowerEdge servers, and storage appliances

**Security Clearance Requirements:**

+ TS/SCI

**Physical Requirements:**

+ May be asked to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

+ May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility.
