The Advance Group has partnered with a global solar panel manufacturing company in Walbridge, Ohio who just opened it's 4th location in the area and has a need for General Laborers. Laborers are responsible for breaking down wooden crates and pallets using hand tools.

Duties for the General Labor positions:

Breaking down wooden crates using drills, hammers, and other hand tools
Manually disassembling end caps off of the crates with their hands
Stacking wood into organized stacks
Safely moving materials and broken glass if needed
Notifying supervisor of any defects or safety hazards

Requirements for the General Labor position:

Must have previous general labor or hand tool experience
Excellent attendance
Must be able to pass a drug and background check
Ability to work well in a small team
Comfortable with constant bending, lifting, and laborious tasks
Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs on a consistent basis
Must be able to climb stairs occasionally
Must be able to use hands to grasp, carry, lift, and feel objects as required
High School Diploma/GED required
Ability to stand, bend, and do repetitive lifting
Safety first mindset
Must have access to a smartphone to utilize timekeeping system

Shift for the General Labor position:

Night Shift: 6pm-6:10am
Will be working a rotating scheduling where you will work every other weekend
Voluntary overtime on weekends on ocassion

Pay for the General Labor position:

$17.33/hr
