**Job Description**

AECOM in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Ports & Marine division. Under the supervision of Senior Project Engineers, the qualified applicant will be part of teams responsible for the design of small to large-scale seaport projects:

Summary:

+ Manages one or more complex seaport-related projects involving a full spectrum of engineering services offered by AECOM.

+ Provides project and technical task management for one or more simultaneous projects.

+ Identifies problems, determines accuracy and relevance of information, uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations.

+ Prepare and present project proposals to new and existing clients.

+ Assist in developing new client relationships and strengthening existing client relationships. Identify, understand and focus on clients’ key requirements.

+ Conduct engineering design including calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

+ Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements**

+ BS in Civil Engineering, Maritime Engineering or related field plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

+ Project Management experience within seaport-related infrastructure

+ Due to nature of work, US Citizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ PE License with the ability to attain a Virginia State Professional Engineer Registration within 6 months

+ DOD (Department of Defense) experience

+ Experience with computer aided design (AutoCAD)

+ Experience with ArcGIS

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $145,000.00 - $180,000.00.
