Senior Combat Systems Engineering Consultant

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Combat Systems Engineering Consultant** to join our team **.** This is a **remote** position.

In this role the Senior Combat Systems Engineering Consultant will advise the Navy’s Integrated Combat Systems (ICS) Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) for Computing Infrastructure in the development and qualification of hardware and peripherals and networking systems. You will be part of a fast-paced team environment that supports the evolution of shipboard systems, leveraging your expertise to solve complex systems engineering challenges.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Development, qualification, and integration support for secure communications systems, displays, and peripherals for future Integrated Combat Systems (ICS) configurations.

+ Technical support for the development of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Mission Critical Environment (MCE) 2.0 based networking, processing, and storage systems for ICS

+ Provide Subject Matter Expertise in support of all ICS Hardware acquisition and procurement activities

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Master’s degree in a technical field and 10+ years of relevant Navy program management experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 15+ years of relevant Navy program management experience in lieu of Masters degree

+ Experience in a senior role on a Navy acquisition program

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Demonstrated knowledge of Navy Combat System modernization programs

+ Demonstrated experience in DoD systems architectures, design, development, test and evaluation

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ U.S. Citizenship required and a current or active Secret clearance.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

+ Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
