Front End Software Developer

**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Front End Software Developer** to join our team.

The Front End Software Developer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to create next generation web-based and desktop applications. This role focuses on enhancing user interfaces with advanced tools and capabilities to ensure mission-critical data remains accessible and intuitive for all users.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Designing, prototyping, developing, and implementing applications using modern web programming technologies.

+ Designs and builds User Interfaces using modern UX/UI standards.

+ Utilizing JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, and CSS to build responsive and high-performance user interfaces.

+ Working with Data Analysts, Data Integrators, Data Scientists, and Database Engineers to create and troubleshoot interface capabilities.

+ Collaborating with customers to enhance the overall user experience and defining implementation requirements.

+ Developing and integrating with Restful APIs to ensure seamless data flow between the front end and backend systems.

+ Recommending appropriate user interface capabilities and ensuring cross-browser compatibility through effective troubleshooting techniques.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

+ 7+ years of experience with a modern Web technology stack.

+ Proficiency in JavaScript, including familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

+ 4+ years of experience with web application development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and similar technologies.

+ Demonstrated experience with Restful APIs and relational databases.

+ Basic understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles, with the ability to collaborate with designers to translate wireframes into functional code.

+ Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility troubleshooting techniques.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with the cyber risk and compliance automation tools.

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ An active Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

+ Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
