The Advance Group has partnered with a manufacturing company in Waterville, Ohio who is hiring a Machine Builder. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, welding, electrical wiring, pipe fitting, or industrial painting. Join a growing manufacturing team and work on large-scale industrial furnaces and equipment.
Key Responsibilities of the Machine Builder:

Assemble industrial machinery and custom equipment using mechanical, electrical, and piping prints
Perform welding, electrical wiring, pipe fitting, painting, and mechanical installation tasks
Align motors, pumps, and furnace systems
Use hand tools, power tools, overhead cranes, and forklifts safely
Train less experienced builders on specific skills
Other duties as needed

Requirements of the Machine Builder:

3+ year hands-on experience in electrical, pipe fitting, mechanical assembly (welding), or industrial painting
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and supplier instructions
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Own basic hand and power tools (extensive list provided)
Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to take on multiple responsibilities
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen

Hours for the Machine Builder:

Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Must be available for overtime at 6am until 4:30pm
Some Saturdays required

Pay for the Machine Builder:

$20-23/hr depending on experience
