Epic Application Analyst: Third-Party Application Support

CTG is seeking an experienced **Epic Application Analyst** with strong hands‑on experience supporting **third‑party applications integrated with Epic** . This role is responsible for managing the technical components, integrations, certificates, and vendor coordination required to ensure smooth operation and connectivity between Epic and external systems

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Serve as the primary owner for assigned **third‑party applications** connected to Epic, ensuring stability, performance, and seamless interoperability.

+ **Upload, configure, and manage digital certificates** required for secure communication between Epic and external systems.

+ Oversee **application upgrades, version patches, maintenance releases** , and related regression testing.

+ Manage and troubleshoot **API connections** , vendor web services, and integration endpoints.

+ Identify, analyze, and resolve **interface issues** , including HL7, FHIR, and API‑based connections.

+ Coordinate with **external vendors** to resolve technical issues, manage scheduled maintenance, and respond to outages or downtime events.

+ Work with internal interface teams to ensure accurate routing, message flow, and system connectivity.

+ Execute testing cycles (unit, integrated, and UAT) for changes impacting third‑party applications.

+ Maintain detailed documentation covering configuration, certificates, integrations, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.

+ Provide on‑call or after‑hours support as required for outages, upgrades, or urgent vendor changes.

**Required Qualifications**

+ 3+ years of experience supporting Epic applications or integrated healthcare IT systems.

+ Strong technical background supporting **third‑party vendor applications** , preferably within a healthcare environment.

+ Hands‑on experience with:

+ Certificate management (SSL/TLS certificate uploads & renewals)

+ API configurations and vendor integrations

+ Application upgrades, patches, and versioning

+ Troubleshooting interface issues (HL7, FHIR, APIs)

+ Ability to analyze complex system problems and provide efficient, well‑documented solutions.

+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate directly with vendors and internal teams.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
