**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations while remaining aware of changing conditions.

+ Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity through visible presence and timely reporting.

+ Support public-facing operations by interacting professionally with employees, visitors, and officials, and/or relaying information to supervisors and local responders as needed.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
