**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $16.54 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Wed01:45 PM - 06:00 PM

Thur01:45 PM - 06:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry, following site protocols for visitor processing, deliveries, and/or contractor access.

+ Support security-related operations by completing required logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and by communicating clearly during routine and elevated situations.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
