The Advance Group has partnered with a steel recycling company in Trenton, MI currently seeking an experience Welder.

Job Duties of Welders include:

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Operate manual machining equipment, including Bridgeport mills and lathes.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Cut, grind, drill, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements of Welders include:

• Experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
• Experience operating manual mills and lathes.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop environment.
• Welding certifications preferred
• Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel preferred
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred 

Compensation for Welders:

• Starting pay is $25-$27/hr depending on experience 

Hours for Welders:

• 1st Shift: Monday- Friday- 7am-4pm
• Must be available for OT and Weekends as needed
