The Advance Group has partnered with a unique manufacturing facility in Toledo, Ohio who is looking for mechanics to perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment. The ideal candidate with have mechanical experience with strong hand tool knowledge.

Job duties for Mechanic:
• Assist with dismantling machines and industrial equipment
• Maintain the upkeep of production lines involving regular oil changes, greasing bearings, and repairs
• Support removal of electrical and gas lines (primary disconnects handled by senior maintenance staff)
• Perform general mechanical and maintenance support tasks
• Work safely and efficiently in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Additional job duties as needed
• Use a man lift to repair pipes at the ceiling level

Requirements for Mechanic:
• Prior mechanical experience required
• Extensive hand tool and power tool experience
• Comfortable working in an industrial setting
• Ability to stand for most of the workday and perform repetitive bending, twisting, and kneeling
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Strong attendance and dependable work history
• Safety-conscious mindset
• Comfortable with heights- will be going 12ft in a man lift

Shift for Mechanic:
• Training on 1st shift - Monday- Thursday 5am-3:30pm for approximately 1 month
• Once trained, move to 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 2pm-12:30am
• Overtime on Fridays as needed

Pay for Mechanic:
• $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
