General Labor

This company offers overtime, double-time, and pay increase in 60 days for good performance and attendance!

The Advance Group has partnered with a high-volume automotive packaging company in Toledo.  Immediate openings on 1st shift for General Laborers. 

Pay for the General Labor positions:

• Starting pay is $14/hour
• There will be an increase to $15/hour after 60 days of good attendance and performance

Hours for the General Labor positions:

• 1st shift 7am-5pm Monday-Saturday
• Sundays possible for double-time

Job Duties for the General Labor position:

• Build boxes and assemble packaging for automotive supplies
• Bend and lift automotive parts weighing 50-60lbs into and out of boxes
• Use hand tools such as nail guns and staple guns to build boxes
• Apply labels to boxes and package automotive parts
• Operate machinery to bag and seal parts
• Count labels and document order details
• Operate machinery to band and compress cardboard for recycling

Requirements for the General Labor positions:

• Experience using hand tools 
• Prior experience doing manual labor
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Able to count accurately and quickly
• Ability to be on your feet for 10-hour shifts
• Ability to work 50+ hours a week
• Comfortable operating various machinery
• Excellent Attendance
• Comfortable lifting 50-60lbs repeatedly
