2nd Shift Automotive Assembly Worker | $17.35/hr | North Toledo

Are you an experienced Assembly Worker or Production Worker who can keep up in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are hiring 2nd Shift Automotive Assembly Workers in North Toledo with opportunities for overtime and potential for long-term employment.

This is a hands-on automotive manufacturing position involving fast-paced, repetitive assembly work on a production line. The ideal candidate has previous assembly or production experience, good hand dexterity, and the ability to consistently work at the pace of the line.

Job Duties for Automotive Assembly Worker:
• Assemble and sequence automotive parts on a fast-paced production line
• Maintain production quotas and keep up with timed work processes
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble automotive components
• Handle small screws, bolts, and other parts requiring good hand dexterity
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Package and inspect completed automotive parts
• Work primarily on either the center console or axle assembly line
• Lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
• Stand and perform repetitive work for the entire shift
• Follow safety and production procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements for Automotive Assembly Worker:
• 1–2 years of previous assembly, production, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work quickly and maintain the required production pace
• Strong hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity
• Experience using hand tools preferred
• Ability to work with small screws, bolts, and components
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to consistently lift up to 30 pounds
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work overtime and varying schedules based on production needs
• High School Diploma/GED is not required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Steel toe boots

Shift for Automotive Assembly Worker:
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM until the job is finished
• Typical end time is approximately 1-2:30 AM
• Some shifts may be longer or shorter, including occasional 12-hour shifts depending on production needs
• Saturday and Sunday work may be required
• Schedule may vary based on the customer's production schedule

Pay for Automotive Assembly Worker:
$17.35/hour
• Overtime opportunities may be available
