**Job Summary**
Canteen is seeking a detail oriented and motivated **Accounting Associate (A/R)** to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reconciliation of Accounts Receivable accounts, supporting field operations, and maintaining strong relationships with Canteen customers as well as internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong analytical and customer service skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform accurate and timely reconciliation of AR Accounts, review and issue customer invoices.
• Manage and be the owner of all clients’ payment portals.
• Partner with operating team members to research and resolve customer billing discrepancies, errors, and exceptions.
• Collaborate with Regional Controllers and Accountants to identify and resolve general ledger variances.
• Serve as a liaison between field operations, accounting teams and third party financial vendors.
• Other tasks and duties assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, three in AR required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage across all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Working knowledge of SAP financial systems.
