Process Technician

Location: Tecumseh, MI

Shift Availability

Must be available to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, with current hiring needs focused primarily on 2nd and 3rd shift. 

Shift Schedules

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM — $19.50/hr
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM — $20.50/hr
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM — $20.00/hr

Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed.
Currently working 1 Saturday per month based on production demands.

The Advance Group is hiring multiple Process Technicians in Tecumseh, MI for a growing manufacturing company specializing in engineered steel shot, grit, shot peening materials, and advanced metal powders.

This is a hands-on, physically active manufacturing role ideal for candidates with experience in:

• Production
• Manufacturing
• Machine operation
• Industrial labor
• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Material handling

Process Technician Responsibilities

As a Process Technician, you will:

• Monitor and maintain product quality through work instructions and training
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and production standards
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, calculators, and computers
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment
• Assist with troubleshooting production equipment and quality concerns
• Perform minor mechanical maintenance and equipment adjustments
• Complete production reports and manufacturing documentation
• Support production and manufacturing operations as needed

Forklift and crane experience is a plus, but training is available.

Manufacturing & Production Requirements

To be successful in this Process Technician role, candidates should have:

• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform physically demanding industrial work
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Ability to occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

This is a labor-intensive manufacturing and production position requiring attention to detail and safety awareness.
